Eight months ago I set a series of goals for myself. In the “5-year” category I wrote down, “Become an instructor on CreativeLive”.

I am no different than most professional photographers out there. I love my craft and the business of my industry but I also have a big passion for teaching. I always have.

So I spent the next couple of months creating educational content and sharing it organically on social media. Little did I know that one little move would catapult me to where I am today -a mere 8 months later- preparing to head to Seattle to film my first CreativeLive class for Photo Week 2015!

So I am celebrating with a cupcake (vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream ice cream – my fave!!) If you stick around here long enough you’ll see I love to celebrate everything no matter how small, but reaching a 5-year goal in a only 8 months is a pretty great reason to bust out the sparklers, if you ask me!

Photo Week 2015:
Photo Week is an unbelievably informative, action-packed, content-rich online conference that’s held between September 21st and September 25th.
