CreativeLive Photo Week 2015

Happy World Photography Day!!! What better way to celebrate my amazing industry than with an exciting announcement?!

This past winter I set a 5-year goal and last week, only 6 months later, I’ve received the invitation I had set out towards! As always, I like to celebrate all my big and small successes and what better way to do that than with a few of my favourite macarons!!

So, I’m sitting here at my keyboard contemplating how to make this announcement because it’s not your normal, everyday announcement. It’s a big one – perhaps the most exciting of my career thus far.

I have been invited to be a speaker on CreativeLive! In and of itself I’m super excited about this opportunity but there’s one more thing. Not only have I been invited to speak on CreativeLive but I have been invited to speak during their biggest photo event of the year – Photo Week 2015!

For those of you unfamiliar with CreativeLive’s annual Photo Week they pull in an audience of 150,000 individuals from 170+ different countries. While I’m an avid public speaker, this will be by far my largest audience to date! Here is a blurb from the website:

Photo Week is an action-packed online conference featuring five straight days of high-calibre educational content and the best photo classes you’ll find on the web. During Photo Week 2015, you’ll watch as world-class photographers show you exactly how they mastered their craft.
You’ll get up-to-speed on the latest photography technology, tools, and techniques – all while watching the masters at work, in real time. If you are ready to up your game and learn how to shoot like the pros, be sure to tune in and take notes during Photo Week 2015.”

Photo Week 2015 is going to be unreal – I will be joining the likes of Sue Bryce, Jasmine Star, Susan Stripling, Roberto Valenzuela and so many more amazingly talented and influential photographers from around the world!

This still blows my mind even after letting it soak in over the past several days.

I’ve gone through every thought and feeling imaginable from my initial reaction of thinking there’s no way I could possibly add my name to the list of talent they have lined up (that lasted for about 3 and a quarter seconds) to knowing I could definitely do this and not only do it, but rock it!

So, it is with great excitement that I announce I have accepted the invitation and will be heading to Seattle during the week of September 21st sponsored by 17Hats. I will be teaching a LIVE online workshop on how to Organize and Automate a Better Customer Experience. I’ll obviously be speaking from a solopreneur/photographer’s perspective but I’m confident the content I will be covering can be applied to small businesses and solopreneur ventures of all kinds.

Follow me on Periscope @hannahmarie for little glimpses (via live streaming) of my journey preparing for my workshop as well as one or two from CreativeLive.
